Kashmir's economy amounted a loss of 17,878 crore in four months after the abrogation of Article 370. The valley has suffered several restrictions and shutdown. The report was based on Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) assessment. The study was purely based on Jammu and Kashmir’s gross domestic product of 2017-18. KCCI also stated that the present disruption led to the loss of jobs of lakhs of people.
