Kerala doctor allegedly sacked for alerting authorities about coronavirus suspect

A doctor in coronavirus-hit Thrissur district in Kerala on Tuesday said that she was shacked from a private clinic just because she informed the authorities about an NRI patient, who refused to undergo the mandatory test for coronavirus. Dr. Shinu Syamalan said the patient had come to the clinic recently with suspected symptoms of the virus. She informed health and police authorities about the same that led to her joblessness.
