Kerala-based man wins Rs. 40 crore lottery in Dubai

A Kerala man working as a driver in Dubai won 20 million dirhams (approximately Rs. 40 crores) in a raffle draw in the United Arab Emirates. Identified as Ranjit Somaranjan, the driver and his nine other associates were declared the joint winners of the prize. "We are a total of 10 people. Others are from different countries, like India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh," Somaranjan said. He has been in Dubai since 2008.
