Khalsa Television fined 50,000 pounds by UK media watchdog

United Kingdom watchdog, Office of Communications or Ofcom has imposed a fine worth 50,000 pounds on Khalsa Television Ltd for airing a music video that was seen as a call on British Sikhs to commit acts of violence. Khala TV was directed by Ofcom to not telecast the content that breaches the rules and guidelines of the watchdog. Apart from the music video, Khalsa TV also aired a discussion program promoting violence.
