'Kiwi' is not racial or discriminatory: Australian tribunal

Julie Savage, a New Zealand woman nicknamed as 'Kiwi' by her colleague. Ms Savage said she had to resign from her job as a bakery supervisor due to the issue. However, the Australian tribunal has rejected her claim and said that 'Kiwi' is not an insult as the term is often used by New Zealanders themselves. Kiwi is a bird native to New Zealand and there is no 'racism' in it, the judge added.
