A 12-year-old boy got a new lease of life after doctors at the state-run hospital in Kolkata removed a pen cap from his lungs, a senior doctor said on Friday. The condition of the boy is stable after the surgery that was conducted on Thursday. The boy, a resident of Garia, was brought to the Seth Sukhlal Karnani Memorial Hospital with persistent cough and cold problems, said Dr. Arunabha Sengupta, head of the ENT department.
