Kuwait retail stores remove French products, call for boycott over cartoon of Prophet

The differences between France and the Arab world are getting bigger since the beheading of a teacher over a cartoon of the Prophet. The retail stores in Kuwait removed French products after a boycott directive by the non-governmental Union of Consumer Co-operative Societies. “All French products have been removed from all Consumer Cooperative Societies,” union head Fahd Al-Kishti told a media organisation.
