Lawyer attempts self-immolation; slogans raised against Delhi Police during protest

The ongoing rift between Delhi Police and lawyers escalated on Wednesday as a lawyer identified as Ashish poured kerosene on himself outside the Rohini Court but was stopped by his colleagues in time. The group of lawyers then raised slogans against the police, chanting ‘Delhi Police haye haye’. However, the protesting lawyers maintained distance from the media with announcements being made to caution them against media.
