Manal Abdel Samad, Lebanese information minister, has quit from her post amid the news about protests surfacing after deadly port explosion. She apologised for failing to meet the aspirations of Lebanese people in a televised address. She also called for unity as the nation recovers from the massive explosion. Around 10,000 anti-govt demonstrators gathered & tried storming the parliament building.
