Maharashtra accounts for highest number of cyberstalking, bullying cases: NCRB data

According to the latest data released by National Crime Records Bureau, Maharashtra accounts for the highest number of cases of cyberstalking, bullying of women with 1,126 cases this year. This is for the third consecutive year that Maharashtra is at the top in the list. A third of 2,051 cyberstalking, bullying cases reported across India from 2017 to 2019 were associated with Maharashtra. The conviction rate is also very poor.
