Maharashtra becomes 1st state in India to cross 1000 coronavirus cases mark

A number of cases in India are about to cross 4800 mark as cases tally stands at 4789 while the number of deaths reaches 124 across India. Meanwhile, Maharashtra became the first Indian state to report more than 1,000 coronavirus cases after 150 patients detected on Tuesday. Total 1050 tested positive for coronavirus in state on Tuesday, taking the number of COVID-19 patients in Maharashtra to 1,018, said health official.
