Maharashtra today became the third state to extend the ongoing lockdown till April 30, owing to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus. The decision came hours after PM Modi's video conference with CMs of different states. Odisha was the first state to extend the lockdown followed by Punjab. "The state will show the way to the country even in these tough times," said CM Uddhav Thackeray while announcing the lockdown.
