Maharashtra CM orders opening of schools after Diwali, teachers to undergo RT-PCR test

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has decided to reopen the schools in the state after Diwali. The schools for classes 9 to 12 would reopen from November 23, 2020, and all precautionary measures will be taken. Teachers will have to undergo an RT-PCR test from November 17 to 22. As per school education minister Varsha Gaikwad, only one child will be allowed to sit on a single bench and classes will be held on alternate days.
