Maharashtra cops chase away migrant workers waiting for train in Vasai

A 58-year-old woman died waiting for a train back home in Vasai on the outskirts of Mumbai on May 26. The now-deceased woman was waiting there with hundreds of other such migrants. On Friday morning, the police officials chased them away from the ground citing that there were no trains scheduled to ferry them. The migrants were simply shooed away from the spot without any plan or assistance to them.
