Major Gen dismissed over sexual harassment case: Army Chief

Bipin Rawat, the Army Chief General, confirmed the punishment of dismissal had been awarded to a Major General over a sexual harassment case. The lawyer of the Major general has said that the confirmation of the sentence is illegal as his client has not been provided with a copy of the court-martial proceedings. The incident took place in North East in late 2016, when the Major general was posted there.
