Male tiger walks a record 3000 km to reach his new home

A male tiger from Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary in Yavatmal district of Vidarbha, walked a record 3,000 km to reach ans settle down in the Dnyanganga Wildlife Sanctuary in Buldana district. The tiger has been identified as T1C1 by the wild life officials. The 3,020 km long walk has earned the tiger the moniker “Walker” from the forest officials. The tiger was radio-collared on February 27 last year.
