Marijuana to be legalised in New York for adult recreational use

New York is all set to legalise the recreational use of marijuana. It will be the 15th American state to legalise cannabis as Governor Andrew Cuomo and lawmakers had reached the common ground on the issue. The state legislature may soon vote to make the use of cannabis legal for recreational use. As per the proposed agreement, cannabis will be sold with a 13 percent sales tax-- nine percent of which, will go to the state.
