Former Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra made a shocking remark that marital rape should not be considered as a crime, at a conference in KLE college, Bengaluru. He believes that marital rape is a notion that is brought from other countries & not applicable to India as it will create absolute chaos in the families. As per IPC Section375, forced sexual intercourse by a man with his wife who is not under 18 yrs of age isn't rape.
