Mars' secrets revealed after bizarre 'Marsquakes' occur

After decades, we've been able to determine that Mars, like Earth, has a liquid core, solid mantle, and crust, albeit with subtle differences. The data acquired by the InSight lander on Mars shows over 700 'Marsquakes' have been recorded. 35 of them were powerful enough to investigate further. Scientists were able to learn about the interior of Mars by analyzing the propagation of these waves through the planet's interior.
