Maruti partners Western Railways to transport cras

For the first time, a consignment of Maruti cars was transported via train, all thanks to a partnership between the Western Railway and automobile giant Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. The first consignment of 25 cars which was loaded in less than four hours in 25 NMG coaches travelled a distance of 1m716 km to reach Nidvanda in Bengaluru Division of South-Western Railway from Detroj Maruti plant.
