Czech Republic has started testing 2,500 miners and employees at one pit amid the sudden spike in COVID-19 positive cases in crowded mines. More than 120 miners at a north Moravia mine have tested positive, including four from Poland who often cross the border to work there. Most of those who tested positive were asymptomatic. In Poland, already 3000 miners have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
