Massive operation launched by army after biggest infiltration attempt by terrorists in recent years

The Indian Army has said that it has launched a massive search operation in Jammu and Kashmir after the biggest infiltration attempt by terrorists from across the Line of Control in recent years. Internet services and mobile phones have also been suspended in the Uri sector. The infiltration attempt was made around the fifth anniversary of the Uri attack in which 19 soldiers lost their lives on September 18, 2016.
