Medical student fails in exam, demands fee from his girlfriend for distraction

A 21-year-old BHMS student was booked by city police on charges of extortion, criminal intimidation & cheating after he blamed his girlfriend for his poor results & started demanding money for compensating him the first year's course fees. The girlfriend is a classmate. The suspect was bright but didn't focus on studies & failed in the 1st year. So he couldn't get admission to the 2nd year of the 4 year course.
