The India Meteorological Department scientists have said that the national capital could witness its warmest September in five years. “In 2015, the average temperature for the month was 36.1 degrees Celsius, this time it may be around 36 degrees Celsius," said Kuldeep Shrivastava, head, Regional Weather Forecasting Centre, Delhi while adding that the climate could remain humid and hot due to lack of rain.
