Mi-8 helicopter crashes in Russia's Far East region with 16 people on board

The Russian emergency service said that a Mi-8 helicopter crashed in the country's Far East region of Kamchatka. The helicopter had as many as 16 people on board at the time of the crash. The helicopter was carrying 13 passengers and three crew and it hard-landed near a lake on the south of the Kamchatka peninsula. As per the reports, the helicopter was carrying tourists from Moscow and St Petersburg when the crash happened.
