Miscreants continue to damage telecom towers in Punjab despite CM Amarinder Singh's appeal

The reports of damage to telecom towers continue to emerge from different parts of Punjab even as Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has appealed to everyone to maintain peace and do not disrupt the telecom services. More than 176 telecom towers have been damaged in the state till now. "Site managers are slapped and abused for trying to persuade protestors from damaging sites," a report said. Private telecom towers are being targeted.
