Beating more than 70 contestants from across the world, Miss Mexico Andrea Meza won the Miss Universe 2021 pageant on Sunday. This was after Miss Myanmar used the stage to raise the issue of military-led emergency in her country. 26-year-old Meza beat Brazilian and Peruvian finalists. The event was hosted by American actor Mario Lopez and television personality Olivia Culpo at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
