Miss Universe 2017 paid Rs 4 lakh duty for her crown at Mumbai Airport

Miss Universe 2017, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters had to pay Rs 4 lakh as duty at the Mumbai International Airport for her crown. The South African winner was carrying a replica of her Japanese crown while she came down to Mumbai to judge a beauty contest in NSCI, Worli. She was stopped at the immigration who then evaluated the price of her diadem and finally it was figured that she needs to pay the duty for the crown.
