Mobile payment platform BHIM suffered a data breach; exposed over 7 million users data

As per report by Israeli cybersecurity website vpnMentor, BHIM, the mobile payment platform, suffers a data breach, which had affected personal records of more than 7 million users in India. The leak includes personal identifiable information like Aadhar card details, caste certificate, house proof, bank records and complete profile of people. The firm said that the scale of exposed data is extra-ordinary.
