Moderna won't take action against firms using its technology to develop coronavirus vaccine

Drugmaker Moderna Inc has decided that it would not enforce patents related to its Covid-19 vaccine during the pandemic. The firm also said that it would not take any action against firms using its technology to develop shots. The company is looking to license the technology behind the vaccine after the pandemic. President Stephen Hoge said the firm is not interested in using that IP to decrease the number of vaccines.
