More than 700 dead as unprecedented heatwave hits Canada

Canada continues to struggle with an unprecedented heatwave that has been unleashing havoc for the past few days. More than 700 lives have been lost in past one week in Canada alone with a larger part of the Pacific Northwest struggling with the violent heatwave. The heatwave has also triggered several wildfires with 2 people losing their lives in the village of Lytton in British Columbia earlier this week.
