More than 700 new doctors appointed by Uttarakhand government to improve Covid19 response in the state

The Uttarakhand government has started the process of appointing 763 new doctors to boost the health infrastructure in the state in order to improve the response against the novel coronavirus. "Since the outbreak of Covid-19, 400 new doctors were recruited, 273 ICU beds installed and 165 ventilators procured,” Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said. He also mentioned that every district now has ICU facility.
