Most people have antibodies to neutralise Covid in severe cases: Study

According to a study published in the journal PLOS Pathogens, most people have the capability to produce antibodies to neutralise the coronavirus infection in case of severe infections. As per the study, the antibodies target the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein -- the domain used by the virus to enter the human body. The antibodies were found in patients who have recovered from the pandemic.
