Myanmar’s military orders blockage of Facebook services

Protests erupted in different parts of Myanmar following the arrest of top politicians in a military-led coup. To curb the protests, the military government in the country has ordered internet service providers to temporarily block access to Facebook. “We urge authorities to restore connectivity so that people in Myanmar can communicate with their families and friends and access important information,” Facebook spokeswoman said.
