In the last few years, the Sun has been a bit quiet and the activity of Solar flares has been weak and infrequent. However, recently, NASA has spotted the biggest solar flare since 2017. A Solar flare is a powerful burst of radiation that originates from the Sun in a loop of plasma. NASA said that the Sun is an unpredictable star and the sunspot numbers often go up and down and it is difficult to predict the behaviour.
