Nasa's Solar Dynamics Observatory captured a magnificent picture of the Sun as the view was photobombed by the earth's natural satellite Moon on October 16 during a lunar transit. The Moon covered 44% of the Sun during the lunar transit that lasted nearly 50 minutes. The unique image showing the lunar transit was released by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The SDO was launched in February 2010.
