The Charter day school in North Carolina had a school uniform policy for girls to wear skirts to preserve chivalry & respect among young women and men. When they conducted tornado or fire drills, girls had to kneel down or crawl which made them fear from boys, as boys would look up to their skirts. So, they filed a lawsuit. The judge has ruled that the policy violated the equal protection clause of the US Constitution.
