NCB to file affidavit in court after witness pay-off charges, Sameer Wankhede seeks intervention amid threat attempts

The Narcotics Control Bureau is going to file an affidavit in the sessions court in Mumbai after the witness pay-off charges in the cruise drugs case. The affidavit by the NCB is about a witness turning hostile and influence being used to hamper the investigation. NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede will also file an affidavit to request the court to take cognizance of the “attempts to threaten him and hamper the investigation”.
