New Ayodhya mosque illegal under Sharia Law, not in compliance with Waqf Act: AIMPLB

Days after the release of the design of the planned mosque in Ayodhya, Zafaryab Jilani, a member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board has said that the new mosque is against the Waqf Act and "illegal" under the Sharia law. However, Athar Hussain, the secretary of a trust formed to build the mosque in Ayodhya said the land allotted under the directive of the Supreme Court of India can't be illegal.
