New forecast suggests India may achieve herd immunity by Feb 2023

According to a recent forecast by London-based analytics company Airfinity, India may achieve herd immunity for Covid-19 by February 2023, given the current vaccine supply deals and early inoculation drives. As per the research, US, UK and Canada might have an edge over India in terms of Covid herd immunity. US and Canada are expected to have herd immunity by 2nd quarter of 2021 while Japan is expected to have it by April 2022.
