A massive protest erupted in Indonesia against the new jobs law that was passed earlier this week. The protestors and the police clashed with each other on the third day of the demonstrations after the protest turned violent. The protestors gathered in large numbers near the presidential palace in central Jakarta. They raised slogans and pelted stones. The police fired tear gas and water cannon to disperse the crowd.
