New Zealand has officially banned the usage of single-use plastic bags and have introduced massive fines for businesses that continue to provide them. The use of plastic has become a global concern with the pollution level skyrocketing as every day passes by, harming the marine and land animals. Reusable carriers are being allowed under the new ruled laid out. More than 80 countries have introduced similar bans, according to the UN.
