Puna Mahato after giving birth to a baby girl in Jharkhand becomes the first one to get the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana launched by PM Modi on Sunday. The scheme is known to be the world’s largest govt-funded healthcare scheme. To more than 10.47 cr poor families in India, its aim is to provide them with a coverage of Rs 5L per family yearly. Where govt. will contribute 60%, states will contribute 40% to it.
