Almost a week after gunmen in Nigeria abducted two Indian nationals, the police in southwestern Nigeria successfully freed them. The two were abducted last Wednesday as they drove out from their farm in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state. Police force's spokesman Olugbenga Fadeyi said the two were taken into the forest, which was combed by state police. Timely intervention by the military led to the release of the victims.
