No minimum education needed for driving licence; step to boost employment

It was on Tuesday when the Road Transport Ministry said that they have decided to remove the requirement of minimum educational qualification to get a driving licence to increase employment opportunities. For now, a transport vehicle driver needed to have passed 8th standard, under Rule 8 of the Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989. This will open an employment opportunity for many underprivileged people.
