The farmers from Punjab and Haryana have been protesting against the newly passed farm laws for over a month now. The Central government has said that it has framed the laws after holding multiple consultations with 'stakeholders'. However, an RTI has revealed that there's no record of consultation with the farmers. Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has claimed that the "laws have been discussed for a very long time."
