Nokia plant in Tamil Nadu shut after 42 test positive for coronavirus

Nokia last week suspended operations at a telecoms gear manufacturing plant in southern India after some employees tested positive for Covid-19. However, the company did not disclose how many workers at the plant tested positive for the pandemic but according to sources, at least 42 workers tested positive at the plant in Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu. India on Tuesday recorded a total of 1,45,380 coronavirus infections.
