North Indians spend most on weddings: Survey

A survey by a leading matrimonial website shows that North Indians spend most on big fat weddings at 18.6% followed by the South Indians at 12%. The Western part of India spends 11% while the Eastern part ranks last with 10.9%. Approximately 20% of women respondents said that they would spend Rs. 1 lakh on their wedding trousseau and only 15.24% men said that they would spend a lot on their clothes.
