According to a report, North Korea has restarted activities at nuclear reactor Yongbyon, which is capable of producing weapons-grade plutonium. "Since early July 2021, there have been indications, including the discharge of cooling water, consistent with the operation," the International Atomic Energy Agency said in the report. North Korea expelled the IAEA inspectors in 2009 and the agency has had no access to the North since then.
