Notable Marathi socialist, reformer Pushpa Bhave passes away at 81

Well-known Marathi socialist, rationalist and reformer, Pushpa Bhave passed away at the age of 81 after a prolonged illness. She breathed her last on Friday at nearly 12.30 am at her Mumbai residence in Dadar. She was a retired professor and remained an active part of several strikes and agitations including the Goa Liberation. Late Mrs. Pushpa Bhave is survived by her husband Professor Anant Bhave.
